Afterbirth Care:

Infusing Herbs -
Place half a cup (10 grams) of dry Perineum Herbs in a non-metal bowl and cover with one-three cups of near-boiling water. Use one cup of water for use with the peri bottle, three cups of water for use in the sitz bath.

Leave the herbs to infuse for at least 10-15 minutes.

Day 1 Onwards:
Once infused and cool, pour the warm herbal infusion into our Peri Bottle.

Keep it by the toilet and gently squirt the liquid onto your perineum while you’re urinating to help prevent stinging and to jumpstart the healing process naturally.

Day 3 Onwards:
Let the baths begin! For this healing practice, pour infusion into our Sitz Bath just deep enough for your perineum and rectum to be fully immersed. You may need to add more water to your bath.

Place the Sitz Bath on the ceramic bowl of your toilet (lifting the seat up) - sit, relax and enjoy for at least 15 minutes to let the herbs work their magic and repeat daily until healed.

Be sure to gently pat yourself dry when you’ve finished bathing.

Yoni Steaming:

Place half a cup (10 grams) of dry Perineum Herbs in a non-metal bowl and cover with one-three cups of near-boiling water. Leave the herbs to infuse for 5 minutes.

You can either squat or kneel over the bowl, or sit on a seat above the steaming water.

It is very important to test the temperature of the steam before using. If it is too hot wait and test it again until it feels comfortably warm to steam with.

If you are not ready to steam - let the infusion cool for an additional 5-10 minutes. Pour the infusion into our Sitz Bath just deep enough for your perineum and rectum to be fully immersed.

Place Sitz Bath into toilet bowl - sit, relax and enjoy for at least 15 minutes to let the herbs work their magic.

Ancient practice says to steam for 6 days per cycle, 3 days before your period and for 3 days after your period.
